Brent Williams, CEO/President, Dental Select
Brent Williams is President/CEO and founder of Dental Select. He has developed Dental Select into a dental benefits industry leader in product innovation, service, and technology. In addition to spearheading the company’s corporate growth and strategies, Brent is the chief architect of product innovation and development. As a national leader in the dental benefits industry, Brent serves on the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) Board of Directors. During his tenure, he was an NADP officer serving as its Secretary/Treasurer and Chair of the Budget Committee. He has also been an active member with the National Dental Electronic Data Interchange Council (NDEDIC) and the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). Brent has 18 years of leadership experience in the dental benefits industry coupled with 8 years of accounting and financial background. Educated as an accountant, he has a detailed understanding and background of financial management coupled with extensive experience in computer technology and dental benefit risk management.
Duane Bourdeaux, CEO/President, Colors of Success
Duane Bourdeaux is the President/CEO for Colors of Success and has served as a member of the Utah State House of Representatives. Mr. Bourdeaux works closely within the low-income communities of Utah to facilitate access to needed social and health related services. He is a member of numerous state and community action committees and a highly recognized community leader.
Dr. Steven Steed, Dental Director, Utah Department of Health
Dr. Steed is the Utah Department of Health’s State Dental Director and President of the Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors (ASTDD). Dr. Steed has championed efforts in Utah as well as nationally in early detection and prevention of dental disease in children. He helped to author the ASTDD "Best Practice Approach to School-based Dental Sealant Programs" which has become the standard of dental sealant prevention programs nationwide. Dr. Steed works directly with the Utah Dental Association and Utah State Legislature on advancing oral health initiatives. Dr. Steed organized and oversees the Utah Oral Health Coalition whose mission is to increase community awareness of oral health needs.
Suzette Musgrove, COO, Dental Select
Suzette Musgrove is the Chief Operations Officer of Dental Select and presides over the Dental Select management team directing all aspects of operations including Administration, Marketing, Professional Relations, Systems Development and Support, IT and Finance. With over 28 years of experience in the dental industry, including 17 years working within several dental offices, Suzette has a detailed understanding of the providers’ perspective. Suzette has lectured for the Utah Dental Association conference. She is currently a member of the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP), serving on their Professional Relations committee working directly with the ADA. Suzette is also on the Board of Directors for Donated Dental and is a member of the National Dental Electronic Data Interchange Council (NDEDIC). In 2004, Utah Business Magazine named Suzette as one of Utah’s 30 Women to Watch, a prestigious award given to only the top business women in Utah.
M'lisa J. Ekstrom
M'lisa J. Ekstrom (Missy) is a life long resident of Salt Lake City where she attended Highland High School and the University of Utah. She worked for over 10 years with Western States Title Company, her family's business for 3 generations, as a Licensed Agent and Marketing Professional. After Western States was acquired by Old Republic Title Company, she left Old Republic to co-found Legacy Land Title Company with her Father. She worked at Legacy as a Principle and head of Marketing until her retirement in 2000. Missy is married to Edward D. Ekstrom and they are the parents of 8 children. Missy has previously served on the board for the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and as President of Inverness HOA. She is a Trustee of the Edward D. and M'lisa J. Ekstrom Family Foundation. She has also served on numerous fundraising committees for local non-profits. She is passionate about ensuring quality health and education for Utah's children.
